These cows are taken to forest at 9am and the comes back at 5pm.The average walking distance per cow per day is 10km.The natural grazing in the herbal rich western Ghats forests makes their milk, dung and urine rich in medicinal value.average milk yield per cow is 1L per day.The milk is converted to curd,curd churned at early morning to take out the butter.
