Dussehra is celebrated during the Ashvina month of Indian calendar, which usually falls in the months of September & October of English calendar. The festival is celebrated for nine nights with devotees taking part in the DandiyaRaasandGarba dance and offer prayers and Prasad to GodessDurga. Durga Puja is celebrated from the sixth day of Navaratri and will continue for four days and then end with Vijayadashmi on tenth day.
